MALVERN BUTTERY

I visited the Malvern Buttery, a suburban Philadelphia café with self-serve food and communal seating. I tried pork, bean, and kale soup, bread and butter, canelé, sea salt sable, and café au lait with vanilla. The soup was flavorful but a bit bean-heavy for my taste. The desserts were outstanding, and the ambiance made it worth the visit.
