ITV Philly opened in July 2016 and is Chef Nicholas Elmi’s second restaurant concept featuring bistro-style small plates, snacks and a wine bar. I have been dying to try ITV Philly for a few months, but wasn’t able to get a reservation that worked into my schedule. Well, it finally happened and I am so excited that I’ve decided to do my very first Instagram giveaway because I want you to try ITV Philly too. Check out the rules below!

- Domaine de Fenouillet
- Puffed Pork Chips with Wild Onion and Sour Cream
- Wagyu Tartare with Pumpernickel Soldiers and Cured Egg
- Potato Croquettes
- Beef Fat Biscuit with Scallion Honey Butter
- Chicken Liver Stroopwafle with Plum Agrodolce
- Pot de Creme
I’ll start by saying there is not one bad thing on the menu at ITV Philly. It was all delicious and the Happy Hour is an amazing deal. A lot of the snacks are $5 and drinks are roughly $7. It’s definitely easy to splurge without feeling you’re doing a lot of damage to your wallet. I would say my favorite dishes were the Puffed Pork Chips and the Wagyu Tartare. They both were bursting with flavor.
However, the highlight of the evening was meeting Chef Elmi! My friend really wanted a chocolate dish for dessert and the current menu featured a maple dessert. You can imagine our surprise when Chef Elmi turns the corner and presented us with two desserts he prepared just for us including a gorgeous chocolate in gold foil. Needless to say, they were both amazing and such a treat. It’s very clear that Chef Elmi puts a lot of thought and care into his dishes and his patron’s experiences.
Elmi has worked at some of the top rated French restaurants on the east coast. He was the 2014 Top Chef Winner, James Beard Nominee and his main restaurant Laurel has been featured in the Top 50 restaurants on a variety of lists. You can see why I was excited to try ITV Philly and it certainly did not disappoint. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
